You read that right, officers! Manufacturing is 100% complete and freight shipping to fulfillment centers around the world has begun. That means it’s the last time you can change your mailing address.
Address Lock Down
Our Warden has initiated the address lock down process. You should have just gotten an email you can click on to change your mailing address or you can do so by logging-in to BackerKit right here. Assume a delivery in October when deciding on which address to use, but if you’ll be moving between late September and the end of November, please send us a Kickstarter message or email email@example.com and we will give you a closer estimate for your country or we will hold your shipment until you have moved.
We'll be using fulfillment centers in the US, Canada, Germany, and China. The one in China will usually send many orders we submit to them to other fulfillment centers in Australia, Singapore, and various other Asia/Pacific countries.
The China fulfillment center will receive theirs first, and then the other regions should receive theirs 3-5 weeks later. Based on past backer polls we've done, it seems the consensus is that the preference is for us to start local shipping in a region as soon as we can, even if it means some regions will get their rewards a bit before others, so that's what we'll do.
Right now, we'll say we estimate deliveries to for everyone will happen between September 25th and November 30th, but there are two C's that could delay things: Customs or Coronavirus. As soon as we get confirmation that a fulfillment center has received product and they give us an estimate on when it will be fulfilled, we'll pass that along to you.
We have some production samples of everything now and it looks amazing! We'll add a couple pictures to each of the next few Updates so you can look forward to those sneak peeks.
Since this question came up many times during the campaign, here's proof that the tuck boxes in the Big Box fit both sleeved and unsleeved cards:
GIFs in Updates sometimes don't work perfectly, but let's see if this one does to show you the medals sliding into the badge slots:
2nd-3rd Edition Upgrade Kit for All the Things
This is just for those who backed at the All the Things level, so if that’s not you, feel free to skip the rest of this section.
On the campaign page, we listed the “3rd Edition Upgrade Kit” as an item to include in All the Things, which is what upgrades a 2nd Edition copy of Good Cop Bad Cop to 3rd Edition. But one of the items in your reward level is 3rd EditionGood Cop Bad Cop so you don’t need the upgrade kit and we think it will just cause confusion. So we plan to NOT include it for any of the All the Things rewards. Just let us know if you want it for any reason, like you have a copy of 2nd Edition you want to upgrade and give away or something and we will happily send it to you. Sorry for the confusion here!
In the next update, we should be able to go region-by-region with estimates on when you can expect your reward.

Surveys Locked and BackerKit Charging Commencing
about 1 month ago
– Sat, Aug 15, 2020 at 08:48:41 PM
Well officers, we're happy to report that this project is still moving along as smoothly as the icing on a fresh long john.
If you weren't salivating with the first image, you're probably more of the starchy, all-business type of cop so we've got one you'll appreciate too. Here's a pre-production sample of the Big Box in all its glory:
We'll share more pictures of the goodies inside in the next Update.
Surveys Locked and Time to Charge
We have locked everyone's BackerKit survey so they cannot be modified anymore but you can still change your mailing address. Please keep that updated assuming a delivery in October by logging into BackerKit with your Kickstarter email address.
We will be charging for the shipping cost and anything you added on in BackerKit within the next 24 hours. (exceptwe won't charge for those who backed at the $2 Retailer reward level until later)
Here's the current rough timeline:
Now: Surveys locked and credit cards charging.
August: Finishing manufacturing and assembly.
September: Freight shipping to various fulfillment centers.
October: Local shipping to your door.
Yes you read that right... we're WAAAAAAY ahead of schedule. But as you know, the Kingpin has unleashed and spread the coronavirus into every country in the world so that could delay things a bit.
The timeline shows what we're aiming for, but as you know, there are a lot of equipment cards out there that change your aim just when you think you have things all wrapped up. We'll keep you updated if this changes.
If any of your friends are sad about missing out on this campaign, tell them to CHEER UP, 'cause they can still Late Pledge right here.
What future expansion for Good Cop Bad Cop do you want to see us make? We have lots of ideas but we figure you probably do too. Let us know in the comments!
And if you have any questions about anything, please comment if it applies to everyone or send us a Kickstarter message or email firstname.lastname@example.org if it only applies to you and we will get back to you within 48 hours.

BackerKit Surveys Locking August 10th
– Fri, Jul 31, 2020 at 09:08:41 AM
Greetings Officers! We've been keeping the nefarious Crooked team at bay during this project so far as everything is going according to plan. Today we'll give you a progress update and "happy path" timeline as well as talk about some questions that have come up regarding the BackerKit pledge manager.
Manufacturing is fully in progress now so things are going very smoothly (hopefully saying that doesn’t jinx it). It should finish by the end of August so that we can begin freight shipping to a fulfillment center in your part of the world in September.
We’ll be using a fulfillment center in the US, one in Canada, one in Germany, and one in China. The one in China uses some other sub-contracting fulfillment centers in the Asia Pacific region like in Australia, Singapore, Thailand, etc. as well.
Then when the fulfillment centers have the products, we’ll ask them to start shipping to you from there. You might even have your reward in October if everything keeps going smoothly!
BackerKit Surveys Locking August 10th
76% of you have completed your survey -- thank you! With how quickly we're moving along with manufacturing, we would love to get these answers from you ASAP so we know how many of each thing to ship to each fulfillment center. If you didn’t get the email with your survey, you can also access it by going to this link and logging in with your Kickstarter email address. You have until August 10th to complete your survey, at which time we will lock them and charge you for them.
Filling out this BackerKit survey is required for you to receive your reward so that:
We know the address where we should send it, otherwise we have no idea where you live.
You can change your pledge level and/or add on items.
You can pay for part of the shipping to you (we’ll pay for some too).
If you do not fill out your survey by August 10th, you won't be able to make any changes, it will delay delivery of your reward, and it might cost us more money because we might not have shipped enough copies for you to your fulfillment center.
Switching Reward Levels
If you jumped on the survey immediately, you may have noticed that you could not switch to any different reward levels but after a few hours, we updated it so you could switch to the higher ones on a few backer requests. Feel free to go back in there and update your survey if you want to switch.
Sleeve Add Ons
The most common question we’ve had so far on the pledge manager is about custom sleeves and how many to get for the Good Cop Bad Cop items you already own.
First off, the sleeves fit all card backs so you don’t need to worry about getting a certain amount of Equipment backs versus Integrity backs or anything like that. They are semi-transparent backs so parts of the backs of each card will show through. They look so awesome. Here's a sample picture from the manufacturer so you can get the idea:
How many sleeve packs should I get? Each pack of 50 sleeves has enough to either the base game or 1 expansion with some sleeves leftover. See below for details on each reward level.
STANDARD EXPANSION LEVEL: You won't get any sleeves with this level so you can add on 1 pack for the base game, 1 pack for Promoted, and 1 for each other expansion you already own. But it might be cheaper to just upgrade to the Deluxe level if you're going to do that.
DELUXE EXPANSION LEVEL: This has enough sleeves for the base game and the Promoted expansion. If you already have just the Undercover expansion, you’d want to add on 1 pack of sleeves to cover that. And if you already have both previous expansions, you’d want to add on 2 packs of sleeves.
ALL THE THINGS LEVEL: This comes with every card we've ever made and has enough sleeves to cover them all.
If you follow these instructions, there will be enough leftover sleeves to cover the promo equipment packs you’ve collected in the past or on here as well.
Gen Con Online
Gen Con Online is in full swing if you haven't joined in the fun yet and there are still spots available HERE to play Good Cop Bad Cop with the Promoted expansion with us on Saturday using Tabletop Simulator if anyone is interested!
Comment here or on the main page if you have a question that applies to everyone, or if it's just for you, you can send us an email at email@example.com or send us a KS message. Whichever of these methods you choose, we will respond within 48 hours.

BackerKit Pledge Manager Incoming
– Tue, Jul 21, 2020 at 09:55:43 PM
Things are moving along very smoothly. Proofing is complete and manufacturing is getting underway. Oh yeah!
We're sending out the pledge manager within the next 24 hours so keep an eye on your email for that, especially if you're hoping to get some Zorro add ons because they are limited. Your BackerKit response will be due by August 10th so you have a few weeks to complete it and it is required in order to get your reward because it tells us the address where we need to ship it and that's where you'll pay part of the shipping cost.
The shipping cost is charged based on the cost of The Zorro Dice Game, which is fulfilling to backers now, so we know pretty much exactly how much this one will cost. We're using BackerKit's weight-based shipping option this time so the less your reward weighs, the less it will cost. Remember that we're paying part of the shipping costs for everyone and the rest is being charged to you in the BackerKit pledge manager.
Gen Con Online
If you're attending Gen Con Online this year, you can join us for a game of Good Cop Bad Cop: Promoted or The Zorro Dice Game using Tabletop Simulator thanks to backer Andreas Gabel who created them! Check out the event list RIGHT HERE and reserve your seat.
Remember that instead of waiting for your physical reward to arrive, you can get some friends together and play Good Cop Bad Cop with or without the Promoted expansion right now on Tabletop Simulator.
We're way ahead of schedule so far (keep those fingers crossed),

Big Box Surprise
– Sat, Jun 27, 2020 at 09:26:20 PM
The live portion of our campaign has come to a very successful end! THANK YOU to all of you who helped make that happen!
As an additional way to say thanks, we are inviting anyone who backed at a level to get the Big Box to submit their name to us and we’ll put it somewhere on the Big Box for this print run! We just sent a message to all the DELUXE and ALL THE THINGS backers with a 1 question form to fill out, but be quick because we’ll be submitting print files very soon! And if you’re going to add on the Big Box in the pledge manager and you really want to be enshrined on it too, send us a Kickstarter message or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Note: If you do NOT want to be enshrined on the Big Box, just don’t fillout the form we sent you.
We also wanted to thank some of those behind the scenes who pitched in to create such a fantastic product:
Dwayne Biddix - For your creating the perfect Illustrations for this game.
Merav Uly - For making the Kickstarter page thematic and easy to consume.
Adrienne Ezell - For your on-point box layouts, branding, and other graphic design.
Reviewers - For learning, playing, and creating content for a prototype that helped everyone understand whether this game and/or expansion is right for them.
Now we will hand everything over to our manufacturing, logistics, and fulfillment partners who we know will do us proud as well.
The next step for US is to submit the final print files to the manufacturer so they can create some digital proofs and samples.
The next step for YOU is that in about 2 weeks, we’ll send out the pledge manager survey so you can add on anything else you want -- and that will tell us how many copies of everything we need to make so we can start the manufacturing process. If you want to get any items from the Zorro campaign, you'll want to be quick to answer that survey because the supply will surely be less than the demand.
We put some buffer in the schedule so if everything goes smoothly, we’ll be able to get your rewards to you way early.
Updates and Communication
As we all know, the funding part of the campaign is just the beginning. What you can expect for communication for the rest of the way is a major Updates about once per month where we tell you what has been done, what's next to do, and maybe show you a picture or two. (sentences that rhyme are the best) We also often do "mini updates" in the comments so you may want to stop in the main page comments section every once in a while to check in.
If you ever have any questions at all, just send us a Kickstarter message or email email@example.com. We respond very quickly.
